Welcome to Chase Shuman

  In anticipation of our pre-fall launch I wanted to connect with you. Our valued customers and friends. We are very excited to announce the upcoming launch of new products, campaigns, as well as our first newsletter! Needless to say, we've been busy. I thought it might be interesting if I shared a little more about my namesake brand and the care and inspiration that went into creating it. 

  As a designer, I have always been inspired by nature, an inspiration that continues to be at the core of my work today. Some of you may know I grew up in rural Georgia surrounded by meadows, forests, and creeks. This landscape is what still inspires me today. Many of our early concepts originated in Georgia and came to life in New York. There is something about nature that just allows you to dream.

When composing the brand, it was important to me to have each garment made by hand. We produce in limited quantities to maintain the quality of our garments. One of my favorite things is to go through each garment and mark every care tag with the order in which they were produced. I wanted each piece to be traceable back to its roots and the team that brought it to life. We design, pattern, and package everything in house while producing locally in New York. I believe in creating the highest quality product. All of the materials are predominantly natural fibers sourced from Europe, US, and Japan.
